Sleepless in Tel Aviv
Hi, everyone, we made it! Had safe and smooth travels getting here. Well, OK, not totally smooth with pretty bad turbulence somewhere over Canada. Anyway, it's now nearly 4am local time Wednesday here in Tel Aviv and we're tucked into our high-rise hotel after a lovely Middle Eastern dinner in the nearby Yemenite quarter this evening. But I for one am having trouble falling asleep. Will work on a more detailed report and hope to get that posted in the next 24 hours or so. Pictures too! So y'all come back...

We checked the Continental website several times and you guys were lucky that your flight wasn't delayed the 3-4 hours many others were. Still, I think you will ALL be suffering from many sleepless nights from the excitement of the new and the full schedule. We're with you in spirit. Eat plenty of Middle Eastern fish ... St. Peter's Fish (sometimes called Tilapia, which is nothing like USA tilapia) and bream, also called Denise.
